It seems my temporary replacement Office Manager will actually be the same girl I replaced when I started over a year ago...funny how things work out, isn't it? I'd been hearing about Gabbi since I started here and was told on multiple occasions I would love her...but I don't love anyone (please note that should be sung to the tune of the Belle & Sebastian song). Well, my soon-to-be former coworkers proved me wrong...I love her...if only we could share the responsibilities of Office Management of this office, we could conquer not just this company but the world.
As I gave Gabbi a head's up to the changes here in the office now that it is a part time position, Laura's response to seeing us both at the front desk was:
"You guys being together is like an explosion in my heart..."
