Me: Kinda. Here I'll measure...
(It was determined a few minutes later after a scientific measurement using a broken mini-measuring tape, that Ali's neck is 1/2 inch longer than mine...therefore, making her closer to a giraffe than most, as my neck is the perfect length, of course, and the standard by which all necks are measured.)
*Inability to lower the chin to the chest is, in fact, a symptom of Acute Bacterial Meningitis.
