Salesguy 1: Hey there! We're looking for Amanda.

Me: I'm Amanda. Barely looking up from my gchat...

Salesguy 1: Hey there! We're from Quill and we're looking to save you money!

Me: Great.

Salesguy 2 takes off coat and proceeds to get comfortable, as I give him the stink eye.

Salesguy 1: Can I have about 15 minutes of your time?

Me: No.

Salesguy 1: Well then, let me quickly tell you a little bit about how our savings program works.

Me: Um, I'm really busy.

Salesguy 1: Too busy to save money?

Me: Honestly, I respect the fact that you have some sort of spiel you need to get through, but I'd really prefer if you just leave me your business card and if we're interested, we'll call.

Salesguy 1: Are you having a bad day?

Me: No. I'm always this pleasant.

Salesguy 2 starts to laugh. I shoot him another glare.

Salesguy 1: Can I ask you about those awards behind you? Are those all yours?

Me: Yeah, I got them for my personality.

Salesguy 1: Haha. Yeah, I can see that...

Me: Are we done now?

Salesguy 1: Well, we'd like to come back later this week for a meeting.

Me: Fine...come back Friday after 3 and ask for me.

Salesguy 1: Can we come by a little earlier.

Me: No. After 3 I'll be gone, that's why you should come back then.

Salesguy 2 furrows. Salesguy 1 looks confused.
